The Echo of Silence
Life shatters, splinters into jagged shards,
A heart fractured, questions left unasked.
Why do they live, these people—
Archiving themselves for borrowed smiles,
Burning their emotions,
Just to survive in a world that feels so hostile?
The earth whispers in stillness,
The trees sway without a sound,
Nature has no need for noise,
Yet we, we scream in silence, unbound.
Life becomes a hollow shell,
A place where the mind unravels to zero,
What is left to recover, when all is gone?
Only the echo of what we truly are—
Silence.
In a space crowded with noise,
I hear nothing, no hymns, no bells,
Just stuck, floating as an aura,
Unseen, unheard, but strangely calm.
Being like a soul isn’t so bad,
For now, I carry no weight, no burden to bear.
A drift in silence,
Free from the tether of a world unaware.
